A couple of months ago Max said something I didn't expect to hear until his teenage years. It was one of those mornings when I had to ask Max to complete his jobs more than a few times. After telling him he couldn't do something he wanted to do, he stomped around and in an exasperated voice exclaimed, "Life isn't hard, YOU make life hard!"
Geesh, I thought I'd have at least another decade before having to tackle this attitude!
Hard to imagine this cute 5 year old could have such an attitude! This photo was taken on his very first day of school. He was very excited to finally be a big kindergartner.
