Bowling Tutorial

A couple of weeks ago, in early January it was one of those Saturdays where it was too cold to play outside, and the natives were too restless to do much inside so what is a family to do? Go bowling!!! A seriously fun family outing. If you haven't gone lately, you might appreciate the following tutorial before you venture on over to your local alley.

First, you will want to select a bowling ball of the appropriate weight.

Lincoln suggests one that is not too heavy.

Next, you will want to find a comfortable position in which to hold the bowling ball, i.e. the "grandma hold."

Or perhaps the more tradional hold, providing your hand span is wide enough.

Swing your arms back, then release.

Don't let go of your form until the bowling ball is at least halfway down the lane.

Steady now.

Never take your eyes off the ball, unless of course you can't stand the anticipation.

It helps to have fans who cheer whether it's a strike or gutter ball.

Above all, have FUN!
